Project 1 - RESTUARANT

The instruction from the client was to produce a design for a new restaurant as a base to promote products made on his farm with a bar and meeting room so as to give the building multiple uses and also open the building up to a wide of array of groups to use throughout the year.
So with the site being on a steep slope, the design has most of the building on one level supported on stilts that look like trees to provide ease of use to all people with large terraces on the bar and restaurant, so people can take advantage of the views across open countryside with the undercroft area being used for a bar/ function room that has its own covered terrace.
There are separate staff facilities situated on their own building away from the main building
Project 2 - RESPITE CARE

The brief from the client was to come up with a design for a new childrens respite building, spilt into five separate buildings containing staff facilities, bedrooms, communal areas and activity spaces.
Project 3 - CARE HOME
​The instruction from the client was to produce a design for an extension to an existing care home which would contain new bedrooms, dining and social spaces.
So a design was produced for a extension that would wrap around the existing care home to have new bedrooms t the rear of the design show that they looked over the communal garden with new dining, communal lounge spaces on the ground floor and the addition of a new lift to enable easy access between the floors of the building.
Also included within the design for the conversion of a existing building to provide new laundry facilities, storage on the ground floor with additional bedrooms on the first floor.
