The instruction from the client was to produce a design for a new four bedroom family home with a contemporary appearance, so the design has three bedrooms on the ground floor with the kitchen, dining, sitting room and then the guest bedroom, laundry, games/media room within the basement. The exterior has a mix of materials with natural stone, cedar cladding with a green roof and also some solar panels on the roof to provide eco heating.
